I always choose the busiest time to go, but I want what I want! It may take some time, just be patient. They absolutely have the best slaw around. I love the fine slaw and not the chunky slaw. I also love their fried catfish, it is so good. I'll be trying other things here also. I've just moved back after many years and plan on supporting this place. I don't want our hidden gem going anywhere. I want it to stay. So I have to come back and edit this review. I absolutely love this place but why in earth was y'all closed this past Saturday at 02:30? I was expecting a very good fish plate and y'all was closed. Ordered the chicken salad meal. It was terrific. My husband ordered the three piece chicken meal. Cooked fresh and the okra was so hot I had wait a little. Service was friendly and courteous.

Lesser expensive , good fried foods. We had catfish and cod with fries and two hush puppies for 7.99. . And side order of onion rings, golden fried just right.
